FCT tax practitioners is a voluntary organization of Tax Practitioners operating within the Federal Capital Territory) and its environs. The association was formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2012.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To provide welfare for members
To establish harmonious relationship with FIRS and FCT Internal revenue service on effective implementation of tax laws.
To provide a forum for cross fertilization of ideas for members practicing on tax and other related matters.
To discourage patronage of fake tax practitioners and fake tax clearance certificates.
To educate members on contemporary matters, tax laws and to deliberate on matters of general tax concerns
To educate the Public on their civic responsibility on tax matters.
To resolve conflicts among tax consultants
To harness common fronts in resolving tax disputes between Tax Authorities and the Tax Payers.

The FCT Tax Practitioners hosted a taxpayer education/enlightenment campaign in Abuja to bring tax payers and key tax stakeholders up to speed on current tax trends.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness about taxation and recent changes in tax administration, as well as effectively communicate the FCT-IRS tax processes and focus to FCT inhabitants.
